Urban Mitch
was born in Germany in the city of Herne on February 27, 1982.
Since the
age of 12 he dedicated himself to listening electro techno house, developing a
lasting passion for this kind of music and for bands like Kraftwerk, Alan
Parsons Project,
continuing
with Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Moby and dj producers such as
Satoshi Tomiie, Sven Vath, Mandy, Layo & Bushwacka, Mirwais and many other
artists belonging to the electro music scene.
(In 1989 he
moved to Italy and) since 1998 he put into action this
passion
working as a dj (adopting Urban Mitch as nom de plume) at private parties and
in dancing clubs of the Marche and Abruzzo’s Riviera .
Those last
ones revealed as very important years,
during
which he improves electronic sounds mixing and producing techniques and other
heterogeneous experiences which bring him to deal with different sorts of
music. He also cooperated
as DJ with
many rock bands, taking part in many concerts, and opening event to bands like
Pancreas and Après la Classe.
In the past
present he dedicated himself to various projects of his own creation trying to
efficiently mixing rhythmical electro techno house and a more melodic sound,
combining electronic music and acoustical instruments.
