NOA & ARMANDINHO - QUERO-TE TER PERTO DE MIM

NOA & ARMANDINHO - QUERO-TE TER PERTO DE MIM
One day, on a hot late afternoon, by the sea of Guarajuba, Bahía-Brazil, the renowned Brazilian guitarist Armandinho Macedo (famous member of the mythical band "A Cor do Som) pulls the chair of NOA, a Portuguese singer and violinist, with indigenous (Amazonian) descent, towards him and says:
- I want you close to me...
To which Noa, spontaneously, responded:
- Having your smile just for me...
From that moment on, they started designing the theme that we are pleased to launch now.
With the voice and unmistakable violin of NOA and the original Bahian guitar of ARMANDINHO MACEDO, recorded, mixed and produced in Portugal, QUERO-TE TER PERTO DE MIM is a fresh and light theme, suitable for summer, celebrating the union between the two
countries and two cultures, where the ties that unite the two shores are stronger than the differences that separate them.
In QUERO-TE TER PERTO DE MIM, ‘Saudade’, present in the Portuguese language, a Portuguese-Brazilian feeling common to both countries, is celebrated in a simple melody that
enters the ear immediately. Accompanied by a palette of warm rhythms, the theme immediately refers to both Portuguese fado and the late afternoon in Guarajuba.

Neste QUERO-TE TER PERTO DE MIM ,
entra imediatamente no ouvido.

FADO by Matilde Pereira

Matilde Pereira presents FADO album live worldwide @ iTunesGoogle PlayeMusic7DigitalPure ConnectSpotify - Amazon - Rhapsody ...

Fado (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈfaðu], "destiny, fate") is a music genre which can be traced to the 1820s in Portugal, but probably with much earlier origins.
Today fado is regarded, by many, as simply a form of song which can be about anything, but must follow a certain structure. The music is usually linked to the Portuguese word saudade which symbolizes the feeling of loss (a permanent, irreparable loss and its consequent lifelong damage).

On 27 November 2011, Fado was inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists
