Why Voodoo Love Songs ?

Voodoo has always been phantasmic to anyone. Even if Voodoo is only a religion that clearly not deserve all the dark connotations connected to.

Just notice how much Rock Culture (and maybe Culture in general) owes to Voodoo universe :

Romero's Zombies, Basquiat's Paintings, Hendrix solo on Voodoo Chile, recently Walking Dead, a century ago Bela Lugosi… And all the seventies erotic B movie cinema born following this kind of inspiration.

What about our everyday life too !  When every thing seems to go wrong, how often are we thinking : " That's impossible ! Someone must have cast a spell on me..."

What about "gris, gris", "come to me powder", "sculpted figurines"…?

Even if we are used to rationality and trained to a realistic attitude, we still invoke something superior and strange when we thought  that what's occurring is not normal.
