Myson Ft Kubekropper "Higher" available - Do Not Fail It

Myson Featuring Kubekropper EP with "Higher" and "Night Train" singles live at Beatport - Juno - iTunes
MYSON was formed in 2002 by Lisa Ellis and Phil Wiltshire (aka. Kubekropper). The aim of the duo was to write and perform classy house/ funk and pop music, both in the studio and on the live circuit. They combine Lisa’s classic vocal, song writing and melody skills with Phil’s expertise at programming, sequencing, bass and rhythm. As a result of extensive experience in previous projects it did not take them long to secure a solid and varied live set. They have performed at many prestigious venues such as, the “BBC“ in London, Camden’s “O Bar” and Islington’s “Elbow Rooms”. In 2007 Phil remixed Myson’s classic “Pacific Blue” under the alias Kubekropper, signing to the Portuguese label “LAD Publishing & Records“ in 2008. Lisa in the meantime has showed off her film making skills working with the electronic composer “Stuart Russell“, producing three short films with him. She is receiving critical acclaim for her work and is currently considering other film/ promo projects. In 2009 Myson signed “Higher” and “Night Train - Kubekropper mix” to LAD and are currently working on new studio material.

"Bangkok Sunrise" from Kubekropper EP - To Be Checked
By the mid 90’s Phil had turned to his other musical passion of bass playing. He helped form the local phenomenon Turtle Soup supporting many signed artists of the day such as Electrasy and Jaguar. They also supported The Spencer Davis Group and were represented for a while by Don Airy (Whitesnake, Ozzy Ozbourne, Deep Purple).
In 1999 Phil joined the group Chenko who again had some success supporting other signed acts, such as Contempo.
Since 2002 he has been with the pop/ dance/ funk duo Myson, along with Chenko’s front person Lisa Ellis.
Late 2007 found Phil writing and producing house/ funk/ film music under the name Kubekropper. So far there has been a remix of the Myson track “Pacific Blue” and two other tracks “Bangkok Sunrise” and “Liquid Remix“. In 2008 the Portuguese label LAD Publishing & Records signed Kubekropper, releasing the three tracks on an EP entitled “Kubekropper“.
Enjoy it.
